A contemporary version of the cult horror movie. "Doll" presents the story of Karen (Aubrey Plaza), who as a birthday gift gives his son (Gabriel Bateman) a doll. The woman, however, is not aware of the ominous nature of the toy. The film features: Aubrey Plaza ("Ingrid sets off to the West", "Legion", "Parks and Recreation") as Karen, nominated for Tony and Emma Awards Brian Tyree Henry ("Atlanta", "Widows", "If Beale could speak ") as detective Mike Norris and Gabriel Bateman (" When the lights go out, "" American Gothic ") as Andy. The voice of the cult doll will be spoken by actor Mark Hamill ("Star Wars", "Templars"). Laleczka was directed by Lars Klevberg ("Polaroid"), based on the script by Tyler Burton Smith (video game "Sleeping Dogs", "Quantum Break"). The film was produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith from KatzSmith Productions (horror "To"). The executive producers were Aaron Schmidt and Chris Ferguson.
